What We Do

For decades, Meals on Wheels Pasco has been a beacon of hope and a lifeline for our homebound neighbors in Pasco County. Founded in1974 as a community-funded nonprofit, our dedication is simple yet profound: to ensure that no senior, person with a disability, or homebound community member goes hungry or feels isolated.

More Than a Meal

We are more than a meal delivery service; we are a daily dose of nourishment, a friendly face, and a vital safety check. Our success is powered by the heart of our community—caring staff and devoted volunteers who prepare and deliver fresh, hot meals with love and compassion every weekday.

Powered by the Community

Unlike many other programs, Meals on Wheels Pasco is proudly supported primarily by local gifts, fundraisers, and grants—not government funding. This truly makes us an organization of the community, for the community.

When you support Meals on Wheels Pasco, you are delivering much more than food; you are delivering a critical check-in, a friendly conversation, and the essential support that allows our neighbors to continue living independently and comfortably in their own homes.

Expanding Our Reach: Our Core Programs

We broaden our impact on community hunger through the "Feeding You With Love Food Pantry", a vital program that provides groceries to families and individuals in the broader Pasco County community experiencing food insecurity.

To combat social isolation, we operate "The Genesis Center", a multi-purpose hub located at our facility. The Genesis Center offers a supportive environment where individuals can socialize with peers, access local services, and enjoy different forms of recreation, fostering connection and engagement.

Strategic Partnerships for Comprehensive Care

Our reach is significantly amplified by strategic partnerships. We work closely with organizations like "CHIPZ" (Community Hope and Intervention Project of Zephyrhills) to serve the most vulnerable residents in the Zephyrhills area. Furthermore, we collaborate with local hospitals and senior services organizations to coordinate efforts and ensure the elderly population receives "comprehensive support" tailored to their healthcare and daily living needs.

Our Unwavering Commitment

For over five decades, Meals on Wheels Pasco has served as an essential lifeline in Pasco County, dedicated to supporting our homebound neighbors. Established in 1974 as a community-funded nonprofit, our founding principle is straightforward and vital: to guarantee that no senior, individual with a disability, or homebound resident in our community faces hunger or social isolation. We are driven by the compassion of our community to deliver not just food, but independence and care.

Through our core meal delivery, the Feeding You With Love Food Pantry, and The Genesis Center for social engagement, we are committed to comprehensive care across Pasco County. By supporting us, you become a partner in ensuring that no one in our community is left behind.

Stand with us and help us continue to nourish bodies, spirits, and independence.
